Our own processing
ExtremeCast doesn't just relay a model: it compares several sources, picks the best one available for each area and merges them into a single reading — so the local detail isn't lost along the way.
Agreement, shown
When the models line up, the forecast is more trustworthy. When they diverge, we show it instead of hiding it: that's what the reliability index next to every value is for.

Quick answers.
Is it really free?
Yes. The weather forecasts are free for places worldwide and need no account, and so are the satellite imagery of the whole planet, the precipitation radar where available (see the covered areas) and the hail radar for Italy. The subscription covers the Italian severe-risk product, storm nowcasting and the advanced mountain tools.
Which countries are covered?
Forecasts, satellite imagery, sea state and air quality: worldwide. In Europe every country is served by the best high-resolution source available, merged into our own reading with rain probability and a reliability index; elsewhere by global models. Weather radar covers Europe, the United States, Canada and Taiwan; pollen covers Europe; the hail radar covers Italy.
How far ahead does it go?
Up to 4 days. City icons and the location card go hour by hour; the colour layers on the map are computed every 3 hours and blended smoothly in between.
Why is severe risk Italy-only?
Because it is verified against Italian radar, 3,750+ ground stations and human storm reports every single night. Extending it to another country means rebuilding that ground truth there first — we'd rather do that properly than paint colours we can't check.
Are the pages available in other languages?
Italian, English, French, German and Spanish. The map follows your browser language and you can switch it from the menu at any time.
